EDIT MY ART 2023.05 – LEAVES (Optional THEME)

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THESE RULES FOR A VALID ENTRY:

RULE 1: SOURCE
You MUST EDIT any image from art in the ONLY A FINE DAY portfolio.

Just select something found ANYWHERE in my ONLY A FINE DAY images or collections and modify it, however you want, except if your image has or needs to have privacy settings... well, don't submit that one. If it makes my mother blush, it's not allowed. You may submit up to four (4) images.

*Rule 2: IMPORTANT to avoid plagiarism and to activate Fair Use:
YOUR DESCRIPTION MUST HAVE referenced material listed (name of original work referenced) AND include this copyright release statement -- Used by permission of Only A Fine Day.

Rule 3: ALLOWED DATES
Upload date MUST be on or after the start date of the contest**. Include the date you completed the work in the description, on the work itself, or via the upload date. (PERMISSION to modify EXPIRES with the conclusion of the contest); however, once made and notated, the resulting image is yours although it MUST retain proper credit and notations (Rule 2).

**Exception: Previous Valid ONLY A FINE DAY EDIT MY ART CONTEST images that DID NOT WIN A FIRST PLACE STATUS may be reentered, regardless of date.

Rule 4: GO TO THE CONTEST DISCUSSION “FOOTNOTES” TAB.
-Post my original work plus your version of it using EMBED Codes.
-Add comments.

This real time contest is open to all FAA artists and members.
To give you time to create, it runs two weeks for submissions with a one week voting phase.

There is a group for EDIT MY ART CONTEST enthusiasts where you can add your artwork, get it featured, and archive all your EDIT MY ART entries and more. Click on the EDIT MY ART CONTEST ARCHIVES Group Icon to join. We would love to have you as a member. (Recommended, but not required for contest participation.)

(THIS PART IS OPTIONAL. Just an added element to challenge yourself or focus your thoughts. Images won't be removed for not being on the optional style or theme.)

BE AWARE – Causes for removal of entry.
***Any artwork not rooted in one of my images WILL be removed from the contest.
***Any artwork that ignores Rule 2 will be considered either plagiaristic or a breach of Fair Use or both and will be removed. I will comment on all valid entries, which constitutes may written permission.
***Any artwork uploaded before the start of the contest date will be removed from the contest, except as provided in Rule 3. Although I grant special permissions on occasion for cause and by request.
***And of course, any artwork that does not comply with all the rules will be removed from the contest.

Be inspired. Be creative.
Draw it, paint it, modify it, collage it, deconstruct it, blend it, whatever and however you are moved.
I'm pretty flexible on what you do as long as I can recognize that you started with MY art.
If you distort it beyond recognition, you definitely need to tell me what you did in the contest discussion tab, or risk deletion.
If an image has or needs to have privacy settings... well, don't submit that one. If it makes my mother blush, it's not allowed.

1)   You must be a member of shopthegreatframeupart.com in order to cast votes in this contest.   Your account must have been active at least 30 days prior to the start of the contest in order to vote.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
