A Walk in the Park - Photography Only

**This contest is sponsored by the Go Take a Hike Photography Group; any images submitted should represent things that one may find out on the trail, in a natural setting – unless contest rules specifically allow exceptions.**

Show us a scene where the subject is any kind of natural scene found in a local park, following these rules:


1. Photography Only. No post-processing digital alterations other than basic edits and black and white conversions, and no digital painting, mixed media, selective color, false backgrounds, added graphics or text allowed. No drone photography, aerial photography or trail camera shots allowed.


2. Your subjects must be WILD animals or plants, or a scenic natural landscape found in a local park, nature center, or recreation area. The park or area must be named in your title or description. State, provincial or national parks and monuments are NOT allowed in this contest. See contest logo for an example.


3. *** Any images captured at a farm, zoo, aquarium, wildlife rehab center, museum, marina, or any kind of built-up area are NOT allowed. Any images taken in any planted garden, yard, or neighborhood (outside of a neighborhood park) are NOT allowed. People, pets, captive or domestic animals, and man-made objects are NOT allowed. ***


4. As always, there is ABSOLUTELY NO VOTER SOLICITATION ALLOWED in any Go Take a Hike Photo Group contest. Please allow your images to speak for themselves! Also, no position-bumping. If you submit images, then leave them where they are. Pulling and resubmitting to get your images to the front will result in your images being removed.




I reserve the right to remove any photos which do not meet the contest parameters. I look forward to seeing everybody’s work!

Each participant may submit 2 images.

1)   You must be a member of shopthegreatframeupart.com in order to cast votes in this contest.   Your account must have been active at least 30 days prior to the start of the contest in order to vote.

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
