GROUP GUIDELINES:
ALL MEDIUMS ACCEPTED: Traditional painting/drawing, photography and photo-painting! We also welcome digital painting and creative effects,
including collages and designs of seashells and marine life.
SEASHELLS: Please crop carefully so the shell is prominent.
SEA CREATURES: including, but not limited to Sea Anemones, Jellyfish, Sea Turtles, Octopus, Crab, Sea Horses, underwater fish and more!
SEA TREASURES: Including Seaweed, Driftwood, Colorful stones/pebbles - in other word, 'Beach Finds.” SEAWEED now has its own Discussion Item!
FRACTALS: Some fractals will be accepted but must be have the appearance or relation to seashells or other sea creatures.
HISTORY (Optional): We love to know the history and any details you can provide (it will also help your exposure) but it IS optional.
NOT INCLUDED;
No Sea birds and shore birds. (There are many many bird groups). - We ARE considering accepting shorebirds. To be decided in July.
No Overall ocean/sea/beach scenes (there are many ocean scenery groups)
NO Mermaids, Boats, Ships, vessels
No People, unless they are tiny and subordinate to the shell, sea creature, etc.
Seashell or Seaweed pictures which are not cropped closely enough.
Please post YOUR archived feature IMAGES and THANK YOU's in the special FEATURED IMAGES 2023 THREAD rather than starting separate threads.
