I'm a grandmom, so I don't completely understand the absolute adoration Thomas the Train immediately inspires in tiny boys! For both of my grandsons, he was their very first best friend, and up to five years later, he still ranks highly among their imaginary buddies! Earlier this year my daughter-in-law took her son to a local park where he got to see Thomas in all his full-size glory and I believe even got to take a little ride! As a grandmother, I'm pretty sure SHE will never forget this very special day. I drew this from a photo she sent me of this day. Drawn with colored pencil with a digital "vignette" applied.
