Psalm 23 holds imagery that confounds even the most imaginative person. The thought of the Lord as my Shepherd, my Caretaker, my Protector, my Comforter etc. is overwhelming. This painting should give you a glimpse at the Shepherd, His comforting staff, the Lamb of God, green pastures, still waters (behind the lambs head) and a sense of peace.
