Purchase a tote bag featuring the mixed media "Put a Needle On the Record" by Danny Phillips.   Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

Artist's Description

I had to do a throw back record player. I remember putting that scratchy needle on my favorite song over and over and over again. The sound these days doesn't quite add up to vinyl...just my opinion.

Danny Phillips

Danny Phillip's art focuses on authenticity, age, and the historical relevance of objects in places. Specifically, he loves textures and layers. Using primarily recycled materials: magazines, paper and paints; all of his pieces are handmade in his Austin studio. As a self-taught artist, Danny has been focusing on mixed media and collage art and his work has been featured in galleries in Texas, along the East Coast and Australia. Danny is also co-owner of In Your Space Collaborative Arts, where he functions as art director leading crews to do wall effects, murals and cabinetry finishes.
