Description
This Colonial Williamsburg-style chapel sits on the William Woods University campus, and was built during the 1968-69 school year. It was a gift from Sarah Thurmond Hermann, a 1935 graduate, in honor of her mother, Amelia Thurmond. The 100-seat chapel also features a Schlicker pipe organ and a digital Maas Rowe Carillon. In fact, as I was driving through the campus, it was the melody from the carillon that reminded me to come by and take the chapel's portrait! (Fulton, Missouri)
