As for cars, first one done, I am not a huge car fan, so need to push myself to paint/ draw them. They appear in my street drawings but are often left out. Movies is always a good starting point.

I am just checking in here periodically, I have come down with a really bad cold so I am resting in bed in between. That's what you get when go to your doctor's office for a routine checkup and people are coughing up a storm in the waiting room!

Oh, not great...

I also got something like a very bad cold with hard time breathing and running nose, plus some fever and fatigue, although I know I don't have a cold... it is from a Candida that developed into my mouth and throat due to stress and more... long story...:(

Eh, take care, get well, and forget about busses! :)

Oh Gaby! Please take as good of care of yourself as you would your hubby! That is how I got this bug ( whatever it was) like a bad cold and flu and I am still not back 100%. He came home with a bad fever two weeks ago and in the process of nursing him I caught it too. Only, bless his heart, he is a terrible nurse, so I am trying to still take care of everything I would if I wasn't sick and it is taking me 3 times as long to get over it as it took him.

Right now my lungs have finally started to clear out but I have had body aches, super sensitive skin where even my clothing hurts me and terrible upper back pain with fatigue.

I guess since I am now 62 yo I should not expect to recover like I did when I was younger. I just get sick so rarely that I forgot how bad it can be... Like my 83 yo mom says, "getting old ain't for sissys" LOL

Shelli, yes, that is exactly how I caught it, same as you I have not been sick in is a really long time. I have the same symptoms, not as bad, and hopefully on the upside of this. Your mom is right, old age ain't for sissies! :) Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear you ladies aren’t 100%

I had to stand outside for 6 hours in the cold for two days and got a cold/cough

I made a drink with one large lemon juice, honey, 5 cups of water and a dash of sea salt
This got me back to normal fast and it tastes good

To all our best health... Green Tea is healing & soothing anytime... Cough Tonic- ACV w finely chopped ginger & garlic, turmeric, splash of Braggs amino acid & honey (if you like sweet)... A spoonful of RAW honey. Also using salt gargle & nasal saline...The worse for me is the sinus drainage when trying to sleep, barking cough so that's when I just work around the clock on FAA so no drama for my 70 mile each way commuter hubby... Thankfully not covid & no fevers! Yep 60 something lifestyle IS different than when we were kiddos... Feb🫖💌 GJ

I made an old timer cough syrup from onions and honey but it actually makes you cough up stuff, which is good but doesn't really help with suppressing the cough at night. I finally resorted back to my Tussin DM.

I am still sick, this is the third day so I hope I am on the mend now. Don't they say a cold is 3 days coming, 3 days with you and 3 days leaving?

I finally am feeling a little better, still have a cough and sinus congestion and feeling tired but I can tell I am on the way to getting better.

That was fun

I was able to take my ceramic 49 Pontiac for quite a ride.

Oh those memories of my actual 49 Pontiac.

And I must thank back in 2010 the wonderful tribute Peter Piatt created for me.

I just googled Peter to see how he is doing, and was shocked with the tragic news that he had died last October.

Oh my, I did not know that you were so sick Gaby I have not been on discussions here. Prayers are for you continuing to get well!!! You are one strong lady to have kept up with all of us in this challenge and being so sick. Prayers for your husband as well that you both have a fast recovery!!!!
