Old Threads Problem ...

I'm having the same problem as described in this thread:
https://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=6311535
... every time I try to insert a new post in one of my threads this doesn't happen and it gives me a completely blank page :/

Is the same magic solution possible? :)

I assume the post is still open...?

I'd try the favorites first - erase cache then refresh the page erase the faa cookies and try again. Its probably something simple.

Mike ...as can be deduced from the post posted the problem is technical and only a "divine" intervention can help :))

I'd still try the mortal thing first.

The problem has been manifesting itself for years now ... all mortal attempts have already been carried out several times :/

Are you sure the thread isn't closed? After a while all threads eventually close!

That's not the problem...all the threads I'm referring to are open...

example: https://fineartamerica.com/groups/-500-views-1-image-a-day.html?showmessage=true&messageid=8305192

...every time I have to add a new post I am forced to edit the last accepted post and add the new content there.

Just tried it, it got to valid post reply.

Its a closed post that look open. Because of a bug I guess. It closes after 2 months and that last post was 8 months ago. So its a phantom closed thread.

Agree with Mike. Why not post in newer thread? Why a thread that is so old?

Yeah, it must be bugged because it won't let me comment again but it let me to edit the other posts in the same thread.
...it's exasperating because it happens in different groups and because I personally find it annoying to see multiple threads regarding the same topic scattered haphazardly.
In any case it should be considered a nasty bug (If you don't immediately understand that it's a problem with the site... you end up wasting a lot of time trying to resolve the problem on your PC, obviously without a solution) ...therefore should be solved.

It needs to be updated on a constant basis or it closes. This one is sleeping with its eyes open. Creepy. I think its a legacy bug where the old format of staying open forever is a thing, but at the same time the newer closing at 2 month is also a thing. I'd start a new one and be sure to use it more often. I think this only happens on older groups.

I think i'm still on one group where the send button is on the original side.

You can start a new thread and have a link to the old one

I've done that often
